About

Hi, I am Rachit (@rachitdhar). Here I am planning to share all sorts of interesting stuff that I have built or written. I have worked on various programming languages and several different kinds of software (including console apps, desktop tools, web, games, libraries), and like exploring new and creative ideas that I often work on recreationally; with the side effect that they occassionally happen to also be useful.

Besides this, my interests are quite broad — ranging from areas like physics, mathematics, computer science and engineering, to philosophy, evolutionary biology, psychology, art, music, chess, and classic literary works. Of course, given the breadth of it all, I wouldn't claim to know all subjects to a significant depth; but I hope to keep learning!

Writings

Here are some of the larger works I have written (for a complete list of publications, see the Publications section).

Library

There are a massive number of great books that I plan on reading, but it is of course impractical to buy them all at once. So I have been maintaining a personal excel sheet to help with this. It allows me to not only keep a list of several good books for the future, but also keep track of the ones that I have in my possession, and the ones that I have already finished (at least to the extent of my personal satisfaction). Here I have created a page containing this book list (in case it might be of interest to anyone).

Apps

I have built a few desktop applications over the years, using different programming languages and frameworks. These range from games and utilities to specialized tools. You can find all of them, along with download links to their respective GitHub releases, on the following page.
